Abstract:
The traditional crafts and industries were and still are the first representative of the civilizational and cultural heritage of all countries of the world, especially Algeria. The heritage in it is diverse, the diversity of its regions and topography, it is rooted in the depths of history, where these crafts are considered one of the most prominent traditional industries in the Constantine region, known as the copper industry. The hands of its craftsmen have excelled and are still innovating despite the developments and advanced technology that touched all sectors, including the crafts sector and traditional industries, and through this study we will try to shed light on Light on this craft and its makers in order to remove the cover from the difficulties and obstacles that flounder in it, in order to enable the craftsmen to resurrect a new and creative spirit through what their fingers make for the people of the city of Constantine And what is adjacent to it, the ancient "Bardo neighborhood" was the most appropriate for our study, especially from its field incision, where we were able to stand on the reality of the craft and the craftsmen.
