The aim of the current study is to explore the effectiveness of an integrated counselling program based on the development of emotional intelligence skills in reducing the severity of aggressive behavior among a sample of delinquent adolescents. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design with a sample consisting of 16 delinquent adolescents aged between 14 and 17 years who were placed in the Ras Ghalouche Rehabilitation Center in the Medea province. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 8 delinquent adolescents. The study utilized Farouk El-Sayed Osman and Mohamed Abdel Samie Rizk's Emotional Intelligence Scale (2001) and Amal Bazza's Aggressive Behavior Scale (2003), along with the integrated counseling program. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group on the pre- and post-measures of the Emotional Intelligence Scale and its dimensions, favoring the post-measure. Moreover, there were significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group on the post-measure of the Emotional Intelligence Scale, favoring the experimental group. Furthermore, significant differences were found between the mean scores of the experimental group on the pre- and post-measures of the Aggressive Behavior Scale and its dimensions, favoring the post-measure. Similarly, there were significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group on the post-measure of the Aggressive Behavior Scale, favoring the experimental group. However, no statistically significant differences were observed between the mean scores of the individuals in the experimental group on the post- and follow-up measures of the Emotional Intelligence Scale and its dimensions. Likewise, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the individuals in the experimental group on the post- and follow-up measures of the Aggressive Behavior Scale and its dimensions. Keywords: Emotional intelligence, aggressive behavior, delinquent adolescents, integrated program.
